It was just a large flathead screwdriver. You wedge the screwdriver between the TOB and the wedge collar. Push in on the wedge collar with the TOB. And then turn the screwdriver 90*. That pops the TOB out of the wedge collar allowing you to drop the transmission.

To use for the C-ring separation of clutch release bearings pull type, tool to use in 54 seconds around 3 minutes is long flathead screwdriver type.
Put between the junction of the clutch cover and release bearing, the driver, and then the disconnect by twisting 90 degrees.
    Hey, you are be tricky.

Evo X's clutch replacement is also a process similar to this Evo VIII image.
However, it takes time since Evo X is heavier than the mission itself.

Most of the are pretty weak, the really strong center diff is found in the 2004 evo rs model they had LSD center diffs. He did do it the long way by removing the steering rack. But I agree with him it makes everything ALOT easier and gives you much more room.

    • @ebo10sst

      thank you for your comment.
The purpose of cleaning of at that time, the bolt of the LSD of the case, because Loctite for the loosening is are painted, it is washed clean before assembling.
Since the bolt size is also small, we are working in a delicate feeling.
The cleaning liquid is a liquid general parts washing.

This video is a 6-speed transmission.
Do you remove the selector shaft before removing the mission, the difference between five-speed transmission, with six-speed transmission is only removed or not.
In the case of 6-speed transmission, part of the selector because it interferes with the frame, I will remove it.
    Please do your best!

Here is a tip , instead of wrapping the hydraulic line in a plastic bag , stick an old valve stem through the line , no leaks , easier bleed after

Regarding stopping the ACD line, we thought about how to stop and stop the existing bolt unit, but it is easier for cost and time to receive it with a plastic bag than to process it.

    台灣如果有這種保養廠
    車主可以很放心的在那維修
    偏偏沒有 為了賺錢
    寧願用副廠的裝給客戶

    能讓人放心的保養廠 實在非常難找了

Yeah, I did this a couple of months ago, a lot of people say don't use loctite. So I was wondering if that was assembly lube. So I did used assembly lube on my flywheel, 2k miles with no issues, knock on wood.

    • @doma5262

Just for my own documentation purposes. 10K miles of hard driving, clutch is still good to go. Assembly lubed and torque to specs.

I still can't believe that Mitsubishi in Japan will only charge 4-6 hours (400-500 usd) of work for a clutch/flywheel exchange. It would take me a week just to get to the clutch.... Although I prefer doing things myself, this definitely doesn't look enough phun to do it ;)

It would be a good idea to overhaul it as a mileage, 10000 kilometers, or as a rough guide for the season off.

    • @gregmcarthur9735
      @gregmcarthur9735 7 лет назад

When doing overhaul do you normally replace anything in the Lsd or just clean & inspect for wear or damage as I did not see you replace parts only clean & put back together ?.
